Music and Math Camps (1)

Music Camp runs Monday through Friday each week from 12:30 to 3 pm.  There will never be more than 10 kids at a camp (most camps are between 6 and 8). The first 30 minutes of music camp will be spent doing math tutoring.  During this time, students will be evaluated for level and then given worksheets that will challenge them and help them grow in math no matter what their level is.  After this math time, we will spend 30 minutes in each of 3 areas, including musical instrument instruction, which may include piano, guitar, ukulele, etc.  After that we will spend 30 minutes singing as a group or individually depending on what the kids are comfortable with.  We will then have some movement time where the kids will get a little exercise and we will teach them a short group number that will be performed at the Friday Showcase.  The showcase will be at 3pm on Friday and 3 guest per student will be allowed to watch the performance.
